New Delhi:  Nazara Technologies has announced plans to raise Rs 733.5 crore through a preferential issue of equity shares, the gaming company said on Thursday.

The shares are proposed to be issued at Rs 306 apiece and will be subscribed entirely by the founders and senior leadership team of Bluetile Games and BestPlay Systems.

“Bluetile and BestPlay founders and senior leadership to collectively invest ₹733.5 crore in Nazara equity at Rs 306 per share,” the company said in a statement.

The capital raise is expected to strengthen Nazara’s balance sheet and support strategic acquisitions and growth across its gaming portfolio.

“Raymond Albaladejo Stauffer, who assumes office as Chief Executive Officer of Nazara Technologies with effect from September 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, will subscribe to equity shares aggregating approximately Rs 583.5 crore, making him a significant individual shareholder of the company,” the statement said.

Rather than receiving additional stock-based incentives in connection with his appointment as CEO, Stauffer is backing his conviction in Nazara’s future with a substantial personal investment, directly aligning his interests with those of the company’s shareholders, the statement said.

Besides Stauffer, Bluetile Games Ex-Co-founder Marc Sylvester Schutze plans to subscribe to shares worth Rs 86.67 crore, Bluetile CPO Maxime Loppin Rs 30.71 crore, Bluetile CMO Alexandre Paul Jean Noirot-Cosson Rs 21.75 crore, Bluetile CTO Alexander Osou Rs 8.17 crore and Bluetile GM Hugo Rémy Gaston Blavin Rs 2.72 crore.

Nazara Technologies founder and CEO Nitish Mittersain said that the decision by Raymond and the Bluetile and BestPlay leadership team to invest approximately Rs 734 crore of their own capital into Nazara is a powerful endorsement of the global platform we have built over the last few years.

“As a founder, it is deeply heartening to see Nazara recognised and respected across the global gaming industry,” he said.
