New Delhi: Molbio Diagnostics on Monday posted a profit of Rs 52.74 crore in the June quarter driven by continued volume of Truenat test-kit consumption.
The diagnostics firm, which recently raised about Rs 940 crore through an Initial Public Offering (IPO), had posted a loss of Rs 23.94 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company was listed on the bourses on August 17.
Total income of the firm stood at Rs 411.48 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year as against Rs 100.47 crore in Q1 FY26, driven by continued volume of Truenat test-kit consumption, it said.
Truenat test-kit volumes grew to 62.4 lakh units as against 7,90,000 units in the year-ago period, the company said.
As per the company’s website, Truenat is designed to detect a wide range of infectious diseases with accuracy and speed at the point of care.
“FY27 is a milestone year for Molbio, marking our transition to a listed company… we have begun the year on a strong note, with healthy growth across both revenue and profitability in Q1,” Sriram Natarajan, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, Molbio Diagnostics Ltd, said.
