Cipla led Nifty 50 gainers at midday on June 22, 2026, while Shriram Finance, Asian Paints and Titan weighed on the benchmark index.
Mumbai, June 22: Pharma stocks dominated the gainers’ list in the Nifty 50 index as of 12:43 PM IST on June 22, 2026, with Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries trading higher, while Shriram Finance, Asian Paints and Titan were among the key laggards.
Pharma Counters Lift the Benchmark
Cipla emerged as the top performer in the Nifty 50 pack, rising 4.51% to ₹1,412.80. The stock witnessed trading volume of more than 2 crore shares by midday.
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories gained 1.76% to ₹1,294.50, while Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Reliance Industries added between 1.4% and 1.6%.
Among automobile stocks, Bajaj Auto advanced 1.13% to ₹10,180.00, while Eicher Motors climbed 1.03%. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries also remained in positive territory with a gain of 1.02%.
