Nifty 50 Top Gainers and Losers of June 23, 2026: Cipla, Power Grid, Dr. Reddy’s Lead Gainers List; Infosys, Wipro, TCS Among Laggards

Cipla, Power Grid and Dr. Reddy’s Labs led the Nifty 50 gainers, while Infosys, Wipro and TCS were the top laggards as the benchmark index ended lower on June 23.

Mumbai, June 23: Cipla, Power Grid Corporation of India and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories emerged as the top gainers in the Nifty 50 index, while Infosys, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services ended among the biggest losers as trading concluded on Tuesday.
Pharmaceutical and utility stocks offered support to the benchmark index, while information technology counters witnessed broad-based selling pressure. The session reflected a divergence between defensive sectors and export-oriented technology stocks.
Cipla, Power Grid and Dr. Reddy’s Lead Advancing Stocks
Cipla topped the gainers’ list, rising 1.36% to ₹1,435.00 at the close.
Power Grid Corporation advanced 0.95% to ₹292.50, while Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories gained 0.79% to ₹1,300.00. Asian Paints, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Shriram Finance and Maruti Suzuki India also finished in positive territory.

Infosys, Wipro and TCS Drag the Index Lower
Infosys was the worst-performing Nifty constituent, falling 3.42% to ₹1,029.00.
Wipro declined 3.21% to ₹174.39, while Tata Consultancy Services shed 3.19% to ₹2,060.00. Adani Enterprises, JSW Steel and Tata Steel were also among the notable decliners.
The weakness in major IT names weighed on sentiment and offset gains seen in select healthcare and utility stocks.
