IndiGo, Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti Suzuki led the Nifty 50 gainers, while ONGC, Hindalco and Power Grid were the top losers as of June 25, 2026, 4:00 PM IST.

Mumbai, June 25: Nifty 50 stocks ended on a mixed note on Thursday, with aviation, automobile and consumer-focused companies leading the gains, while energy, metals and utilities remained under selling pressure as of 4:00 PM IST.
IndiGo, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) and Maruti Suzuki emerged as the biggest gainers, whereas ONGC, Hindalco Industries and Power Grid Corporation topped the losers’ list.
IndiGo, M&M And Maruti Suzuki Outperform
InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) ended as the top performer in the Nifty 50, rising 4.89% to ₹5,462. Mahindra & Mahindra gained 3.94% to ₹3,185.30, while Maruti Suzuki advanced 3.81% to ₹13,753.
Max Healthcare Institute climbed 3.81%, Tata Consumer Products added 3.04%, and Nestle India rose 1.97%.

The IndiGo share price remained in focus throughout the session after ending with the strongest gains among Nifty 50 constituents.
ONGC, Hindalco and Power Grid Lead Declines
ONGC fell 2.85% to ₹233.15, making it the biggest loser in the benchmark index. Hindalco Industries declined 2.52% to ₹952, while Power Grid Corporation slipped 2.20% to ₹284.50.
Technology and telecom stocks also witnessed profit booking, with Tech Mahindra down 1.50% and Bharti Airtel losing 1.46%.

Financials Provide Support Despite Weakness in Energy
Private lenders and financial stocks remained resilient during the session. ICICI Bank gained 0.98%, Kotak Mahindra Bank rose 0.94%, HDFC Bank added 0.35%, while State Bank of India closed 1.02% higher.
Among other gainers, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories advanced 1.59%, Bajaj Auto rose 1.03%, and Shriram Finance gained 1.16%, helping offset weakness in energy and metal stocks.
Conclusion
