New Delhi, July 8, 2025 – Shares of Omaxe Ltd (NSE: OMAXE, BSE: 532880) rose 3.19% to ₹105.52 during intraday trading on Tuesday. This was after the business announced plans to build a 450-acre integrated township in Indore’s Super Corridor with an investment of ₹1,200 crore. The project, which was recently bought together with the property, is estimated to bring in ₹2,500 crore in revenue over the next three years. It will include residential, commercial, hospitality, educational, healthcare, and recreational facilities, most of which will be paid for with money that the company already has. This new expansion is a big step forward for Omaxe, as it strengthens its presence in Tier-II cities. The firm already has numerous big projects going on in Indore, Ujjain, and Ratlam, with a total land bank of about 1,170 acres.

At 2:50 p.m. IST, its stock price was up by 2.65%.

Expansion Highlights

Omaxe, through its subsidiaries, has acquired a 450-acre land parcel in one of Indore’s fastest-developing zones. The project is estimated to draw an investment of ₹1,200 crore and is expected to generate revenue of ₹2,500 crore over the next three years. Development will occur in phases, funded primarily through internal accruals. Omaxe’s subsidiary recently got board clearance to issue ₹190 million worth of debentures, which shows that the company’s internal cash flows and financial discipline are getting stronger. This is in addition to the company’s main project. The action is a good sign that the new township and current pipes will be built on time.

“This project is a strategic milestone in our expansion journey in Madhya Pradesh. It is designed to be a future-ready ecosystem with a mix of residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare infrastructure,” the company said in its official release.

Township Features

The new township will include:

  • Residential plots and housing clusters
  • Commercial and retail zones
  • Hospitality spaces
  • Schools, healthcare facilities
  • Parks, green belts, and sustainable public amenities

The project aims to function as a self-sustained urban ecosystem with robust infrastructure, green mobility paths, and 24/7 security coverage.

Regional Context and Strategy

Madhya Pradesh is seeing a lot of growth in its infrastructure, such as new metro rail services in Indore, longer motorways, and better train service for Simhastha 2028. Omaxe wants to take advantage of this change by becoming more established in the area.

Omaxe has acquired a 1170-acre land bank throughout Indore, Ujjain, and Ratlam since it entered the MP market in 2005. The company has already finished 15 projects across the state, and two more will be done in the next quarter.
