Mumbai September, 08: Organic Recycling Systems Limited has secured two Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance contracts worth a combined ₹167.30 crore from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited for setting up organic municipal solid waste-based compressed biogas plants in Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.

As per the regulatory filing, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Solapur Bioenergy Systems Private Limited has secured the two EPCOM contracts from BPCL.

The first contract, valued at ₹85.56 crore including GST, covers the development of an organic municipal solid waste-based CBG plant at Mysuru, Karnataka. The second contract, worth ₹81.73 crore including GST, is for a similar facility at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Both projects are scheduled for completion within 15 months from the respective Letters of Acceptance. The contracts also include five years of operations and maintenance from commissioning, giving ORSL a longer-term role beyond the initial construction phase.

The two facilities are expected to add approximately 9.8 tonnes per day of CBG capacity. Mysuru is planned at around 5 TPD, while the Raipur facility is expected to have capacity of approximately 4.8 TPD.

Stock Market Snapshot

The Organic Recycling Systems share price was trading at ₹180.00 as of 9:16 AM IST on September 8, 2026, according to the market data shown.

The stock had moved sharply higher from the ₹174 level visible near the start of the session before reaching ₹180. The latest price was also above the reference level shown on the chart, indicating a strong opening move in the counter.

The fresh BPCL contracts come with a combined value of ₹167.30 crore and add both project execution and five-year O&M work to the company’s business pipeline.

BPCL Contracts Expand ORSL’s CBG Footprint

The two projects take ORSL into two additional states and strengthen its presence in the organic municipal solid waste-to-CBG segment.

Under the EPCOM structure, Solapur Bioenergy Systems will be involved across the project lifecycle, covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and subsequent operations and maintenance. This gives the subsidiary a continuing operating role after the plants are commissioned.

The company said the contracts are aligned with its strategy of expanding CBG infrastructure and converting organic waste into useful renewable gas.

The latest awards also deepen ORSL’s relationship with BPCL, one of India’s major public-sector oil marketing companies. The company said the contracts reflect growing demand for CBG infrastructure and its capabilities in project execution and long-term plant operations.

Organic Recycling Systems Adds 9.8 TPD CBG Capacity

The Mysuru and Raipur projects will together add approximately 9.8 TPD of CBG capacity to ORSL’s project portfolio.

The facilities will process organic municipal solid waste and convert it into CBG, linking waste management with renewable energy production. This model allows waste that would otherwise require conventional disposal to be processed into a usable fuel.

Both projects also carry five-year O&M mandates. For ORSL, this extends the commercial relationship with BPCL beyond construction and commissioning and creates a longer operating engagement around the plants.

ORSL Focuses On Waste-To-CBG And CleanTech Solutions

Organic Recycling Systems is an integrated CleanTech and decarbonisation company focused on organic waste processing, CBG production, project execution and long-term plant operations.

Founded in 2008 and listed on the BSE SME platform in 2023, the company operates across the organic waste-to-CBG segment and has developed proprietary technologies supported by research and development partnerships.

Its business model centres on converting organic waste into renewable energy while addressing waste management requirements. The company has also been expanding its project footprint as demand for alternative fuels and waste-to-energy solutions grows.

Conclusion

Organic Recycling Systems has secured two EPCOM contracts from BPCL worth a combined ₹167.30 crore for organic municipal solid waste-based CBG plants in Mysuru, Karnataka, and Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The projects will add approximately 9.8 TPD of CBG capacity and include five years of O&M from commissioning. The contracts also expand ORSL’s geographic presence and strengthen its engagement with BPCL in the CBG infrastructure segment.

On the market front, the Organic Recycling Systems share price stood at ₹180.00 as of 9:16 AM IST on September 8, 2026, after moving higher from the ₹174 level visible at the start of the session.
