Mumbai, November 11, 2025: The shares of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited surged 1.99% and closed at ₹703.50 per share on Tuesday. This was after the company announced the receipt of a ₹35.68 crore order from the Ministry of Defence. The contract relates to the supply of PCDS (Portable Counter Drone System) (details of the contract later). This move makes the company one of the few private sector entities working directly with the MoD in the critical counter-drone mechanism development.
Details of the Contract
As per the regulatory filing, the contract will be completed by May 2026. This is a tentative deadline that can be changed as per the understanding of the two parties. In addition, the company disclosed no related party involvement. The regulatory filing also disclosed no interest of any promoter group in the deal. The order to the MoD will include the supply of an India-made anti-drone system. Anti-drone mechanisms have gained tremendous importance in recent months for the defence readiness of the country. As underlined before, the total cost of the contract is ₹35.68 crore, including GST.
