Mumbai, June 29: Oil marketing companies kept petrol and diesel prices unchanged across most parts of the country on Monday, even as global crude oil prices rebounded amid renewed geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
Fuel rates remained steady in all four metros—Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai—as well as in several other major cities, while Bhubaneswar and Patna emerged as the only key state capitals to witness reductions in both petrol and diesel prices. Here’s a detailed look at the latest city-wise fuel prices and where rates changed on June 29.
Petrol Prices

Petrol prices remained unchanged across most major Indian cities on Monday, with oil marketing companies maintaining rates despite renewed volatility in global crude oil markets. In the four metros, petrol continued to retail at Rs 102.12 per litre in Delhi, Rs 111.21 in Mumbai, Rs 113.51 in Kolkata and Rs 107.76 in Chennai. Other key cities, including Gurgaon (Rs 102.97), Noida (Rs 101.96), Bengaluru (Rs 111.68), Chandigarh (Rs 101.54), Hyderabad (Rs 115.69), Jaipur (Rs 113.19), Lucknow (Rs 101.86) and Thiruvananthapuram (Rs 115.49) also saw no change in pump prices.
However, a few state capitals witnessed price cuts. Petrol prices declined by Rs 1.52 per litre in Bhubaneswar to Rs 108.97, while Patna saw a Rs 1.18 reduction, taking the price to Rs 113.37 per litre. The stability in retail fuel prices comes even as crude oil rebounded on renewed geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, suggesting oil retailers are holding off on immediate revisions after recent adjustments.
Diesel Prices

Diesel prices remained unchanged across most major cities on Monday, mirroring the trend in petrol rates despite a rebound in global crude oil prices. Among the metros, diesel continued to retail at Rs 95.20 per litre in Delhi, Rs 97.83 in Mumbai, Rs 99.82 in Kolkata and Rs 99.55 in Chennai. Prices were also steady in Gurgaon (Rs 95.64), Noida (Rs 95.44), Bengaluru (Rs 99.56), Chandigarh (Rs 89.47), Hyderabad (Rs 103.82), Jaipur (Rs 98.25), Lucknow (Rs 95.36) and Thiruvananthapuram (Rs 104.40).
Among the state capitals, Bhubaneswar and Patna were the only major cities to witness a decline in diesel prices. Diesel became Rs 1.47 per litre cheaper in Bhubaneswar, bringing the retail price down to Rs 100.68, while Patna recorded a Rs 1.13 cut, taking the price to Rs 99.36 per litre. Elsewhere, fuel rates remained unchanged as oil marketing companies continued to hold retail prices steady amid evolving global crude price dynamics.
