Petrol, Diesel Prices Today, July 6, 2026: Check If Fuel Rates Have Risen in Your City

Mumbai, July 6: Fuel prices remained largely steady across major metros and state capitals on Monday. To be sure, petrol prices saw no change in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and several other cities. Diesel rates also looked stable. Bhubaneswar saw the biggest decline in both fuel rates, and Thiruvananthapuram saw a tiny increase in diesel prices.
To be sure, global oil prices declined on Monday after OPEC+ agreed to bump up output from August onwards.
Brent crude futures fell 0.5% to $71.7 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude slipped 0.3% to $68.4 a barrel. Both benchmarks were little changed last week after declining over the previous few weeks.
To be sure, oil exports from Gulf producers have begun to recover after shipping resumed through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies, collectively known as OPEC+, agreed on Sunday to raise output targets by another 188,000 barrels per day (bpd) from August onwards. To be sure, the announcement marks the fifth consecutive monthly increase in production quotas.
With the latest increase, OPEC+ has restored nearly 800,000 bpd of previously curtailed production since April.
Here’s a city-wise look at the latest petrol and diesel prices across India.
Petrol Prices Today
Petrol prices remained largely steady across major cities on Monday. New Delhi continued to sell petrol at ₹102.12 per litre, while prices in Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad stood at ₹111.21, ₹113.51 and ₹116.99 per litre, respectively. Chennai saw a small reduction of one paise to ₹107.76 per litre.

Gurgaon, Noida, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna and Thiruvananthapuram reported no change in prices. Bhubaneswar registered the sharpest decline, with petrol prices falling ₹1.52 per litre to ₹108.97, while Chandigarh saw a small cut of three paise to ₹101.51 per litre.
Diesel Prices Today
Diesel prices remained largely unchanged across major metros and state capitals on Monday. The fuel continued to sell at ₹95.20 per litre in New Delhi, ₹97.83 in Mumbai, ₹99.82 in Kolkata and ₹99.55 in Chennai. Prices also remained unchanged in Gurgaon, Noida, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna and Chandigarh.
Bhubaneswar recorded the sharpest decline, with diesel prices falling by ₹1.47 per litre to ₹100.68. Thiruvananthapuram saw an uptick of one paisa at ₹104.41 per litre.
Prices in Thiruvananthapuram rose by only a paise while Bhubaneswar saw the biggest fall.
