Mumbai, September 15: Shares of Pranav Constructions made a strong debut on the stock exchanges on Tuesday, September 15, listing at a premium of around 33% over the issue price as robust investor demand during the IPO translated into strong buying interest on the listing day.

The stock listed at ₹165 apiece on the NSE, against an IPO price of ₹124, marking a gain of around 33%. The company’s shares are also listed on the BSE. Pranav Constructions had launched its ₹351.03-crore IPO between September 7 and September 9, with the issue price fixed in the range of ₹118-124 per share.

Pranav Constructions IPO: Strong Subscription

The IPO received overwhelming investor interest, with the issue subscribed 121 times by the end of bidding. Qualified institutional buyers led the demand, with their portion subscribed 258.71 times, while the non-institutional investor category was subscribed 208.21 times. Retail investors subscribed 43.33 times.

The IPO comprised a fresh issue of ₹315.60 crore and an offer-for-sale component of ₹35.43 crore. The company plans to use around ₹145.7 crore from the proceeds towards redevelopment expenses and another ₹91.5 crore for repayment of debt, with the remaining funds earmarked for general corporate purposes.

Pranav Constructions reported a 14.6% year-on-year increase in profit to ₹71.3 crore in FY26. Revenue from operations rose 19.7% to ₹761.6 crore from ₹636.3 crore in FY25.

The Mumbai-based developer focuses primarily on redevelopment projects across the Mumbai Municipal Corporation region, particularly the city’s western suburbs. The company has a portfolio of 65 redevelopment projects.

The strong listing reflects the substantial demand seen during the IPO and gives investors who received allotment an immediate listing gain. However, the sharp premium also means the stock is entering the market at a valuation substantially above its issue price.

The company’s redevelopment-focused business gives it exposure to Mumbai’s real estate market, while its strong order pipeline and recent growth in revenue and profit provide potential positives. However, execution risks, project approvals, funding requirements and the cyclical nature of real estate remain key factors to monitor.
