Premier Explosives Signs MoU With Andhra Pradesh for Rs 500 Crore Defence Manufacturing Project

Hyderabad, November 14, 2025: Premier Explosives Limited signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding for Rs 500 crore with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board. The MoU, signed on November 13, 2025, aims to set up a defence and aerospace manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. This aligns with one of the company’s core areas of expertise, backed by years of proven capability and a strong industry track record. The proposed investment is expected to enhance its manufacturing capacity at a time when domestic demand for defence localisation and advanced propulsion systems continues to grow.
Premier Explosives Limited, headquartered in Secunderabad, is a leading Indian explosives and defence technology company. It specialises in manufacturing solid propellants, pyrogen igniters, ammunition, and aerospace components. The company serves key sectors including defence, space, and various industrial domains.
Share Price Update
The share price of Premier Explosives closed at Rs. 598. This was a 0.12% gain on Friday. The stock has delivered strong returns, rising 38% over the past year, 10% year-to-date, 33% in the last six months, and 5.17% over the past five days. During the day, the shares opened at ₹563.40, touched a high of ₹601.90, and slipped to an intraday low of ₹563.40.
