Mumbai July, 27: Several stocks moved close to their exchange-prescribed price bands on July 27, 2026, with Kshitij Polyline, Inspire Films and Satech among the counters trading near the upper end of their respective 5% bands. Morarjee Textiles moved in the opposite direction, falling 4.92% and approaching the lower end of its 5% band.

The price-band list was largely made up of securities in the BE, BZ, SM and ST series. These counters can show sharper percentage moves even when traded value remains relatively modest.

Inspire Films ₹9.50 ▲4.97% 5% 0.04 lakh
Kshitij Polyline ₹3.00 ▲4.90% 5% 34.50 lakh
S A Tech ₹34.35 ▲4.89% 5% 0.27 lakh

Kshitij Polyline Combines Near-Limit Gain With Higher Volume

Kshitij Polyline stood out because its move was backed by considerably more volume than most of the other gainers on the list. The stock rose 4.90% to ₹3, with 34.50 lakh shares traded. The Kshitij Polyline share price was consequently only a fraction below the full 5% permitted move shown in the exchange data.

Inspire Films posted the strongest positive percentage move in the selected group, gaining 4.97% to ₹9.50. Satech followed with a 4.89% rise to ₹34.35, while Paired Technologies advanced 4.81% to ₹47.70.

On the weaker side, Morarjee Textiles dropped 4.92% to ₹11.79. Fconsumer declined 3.57% to ₹0.27, but recorded 32.68 lakh shares in volume, making it another unusually active counter within this set.

Price Bands Act As Exchange-Level Trading Controls

Price bands restrict how far specified securities can move during a trading session. In the supplied exchange data, most counters carried a 5% band, while Rajdarshan Industries and MEP Infrastructure were shown with narrower 2% bands.

A stock appearing close to its price band does not by itself establish the reason for the movement. Price action can reflect order flow, liquidity conditions, corporate disclosures or other market developments. The table therefore records the exchange data without attributing a cause where none has been established.

Conclusion

Price-band activity on July 27 was concentrated in relatively small counters, with Inspire Films, Kshitij Polyline, Satech and Paired Technologies all advancing more than 4.8%. Morarjee Textiles was the clearest move in the opposite direction, declining 4.92%.

Volume provided an important distinction. Kshitij Polyline and Fconsumer saw 34.50 lakh and 32.68 lakh shares traded, respectively, while several other near-band moves occurred on substantially thinner activity.
