VIPUL Ltd was the only stock trading near the upper price band on July 7, 2026, 4:00 PM IST while MT Educare, Setu Infrastructure and Lakshmi Precision Screws featured among counters under selling pressure.

Mumbai, July 7: Trading in price band stocks was far from one-sided on Tuesday. While a handful of counters attracted fresh buying interest, several others remained under selling pressure as investors continued to focus on stock-specific opportunities rather than chasing the broader market.
VIPUL Ltd stood out on the positive side of the list, climbing 4.90% to ₹15.42 and finishing close to its 5% upper price band. The move came with healthy trading activity of more than 22.60 lakh shares, making it one of the most actively traded counters among price band stocks.
Elsewhere, the session was dominated by weakness. MT Educare slipped the maximum 5% to ₹1.90, while Setu Infrastructure declined 4.55% and Lakshmi Precision Screws lost 4.68%, reflecting persistent selling in several lower-priced counters.

Buying Remained Highly Selective
Unlike sessions where price band stocks move together, Tuesday’s action was selective. Buyers concentrated almost entirely on VIPUL Ltd, while most other counters in the segment struggled to find support.
Aurigreen, Shrenik and FEL ended largely unchanged, suggesting limited directional conviction. On the other hand, MT Educare, Setu Infrastructure, Lakshmi Precision Screws and Navkar Urbanstructure continued to face selling pressure throughout the session.
Even Cempro, despite relatively higher traded value, closed lower, showing that elevated activity did not necessarily translate into positive price action.
What the Price Band List Revealed
The day’s list reflected a cautious mood among traders in the price band segment. Rather than broad-based buying, market participants appeared to prefer a handful of stock-specific opportunities while remaining selective elsewhere.
Such sessions are fairly common in lower-priced counters, where liquidity can shift quickly and price movements often depend on company-specific developments or short-term trading interest.
Conclusion
Tuesday’s price band activity painted a mixed picture. VIPUL Ltd emerged as the standout gainer, while MT Educare, Setu Infrastructure and Lakshmi Precision Screws remained among the biggest losers. The uneven performance across the list suggested that investors were picking individual opportunities instead of taking a broad-based view on the segment.
