Priority Jewels Shares Rise 5% On Debut

Mumbai, September 04: Priority Jewels opened at ₹230 against the issue price of ₹200. The stock touched a high of ₹241.50 and a low of ₹230, while its VWAP stood at ₹233.13 at the time of the market snapshot.
At ₹241.50, the share price was ₹11.50, or 5%, above the opening level. Compared with the IPO price, the stock was ₹41.50 higher, representing a 20.75% increase.
₹91.50 Crore IPO Received 100.45 Times Subscription
Priority Jewels offered 45.75 lakh shares in the ₹190–200 price band, with the final issue price fixed at ₹200 per share. The issue was entirely a fresh capital offering, with no offer-for-sale component.
Excluding the anchor allocation, 32.025 lakh shares were available for subscription. The issue received bids for 32,16,91,275 shares, resulting in an overall subscription of 100.45 times.
The IPO received 20,80,254 applications.
QIB Portion Was Subscribed 39.87 Times
The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) portion, excluding anchor investors, was subscribed 39.87 times. The category received bids for 3,64,80,225 shares against 9.15 lakh shares offered.
The non-institutional investor (NII) category recorded subscription of 166.49 times. Within the segment, applications above ₹10 lakh were subscribed 152.22 times, while applications between ₹2 lakh and ₹10 lakh were subscribed 195.04 times.
Retail Investors Subscribed 106.76 Times
The retail investor portion was subscribed 106.76 times, with bids received for 17,09,54,700 shares against 16.0125 lakh shares offered.
The minimum retail application was 75 shares, requiring an investment of ₹15,000 at the upper end of the price band. Applications could be made in multiples of 75 shares.
For small HNI applicants, the minimum application size was 1,050 shares, requiring ₹2.10 lakh at the issue price of ₹200.
Fresh Issue Formed Entire ₹91.50 Crore Offer
Priority Jewels raised the entire ₹91.50 crore through a fresh issue of 45.75 lakh shares. The company did not include an offer-for-sale component in the IPO.
A fresh issue results in new shares being issued by the company to raise capital. In contrast, an offer for sale involves existing shareholders selling their shares.
QIBs Received 50% Of Issue
The QIB category was allocated 22.875 lakh shares, representing 50% of the total issue. Anchor investors received 13.725 lakh shares, while the QIB portion excluding anchors stood at 9.15 lakh shares.
NIIs were allocated 6.8625 lakh shares, or 15% of the issue, while retail investors received 16.0125 lakh shares, representing 35%.
Anchor Investors Invested ₹27.45 Crore
Priority Jewels raised ₹27.45 crore from anchor investors on August 27, 2026, a day before the IPO opened for public subscription.
The anchor allocation comprised 13.725 lakh shares. As per the issue details, 50% of the anchor shares are subject to a lock-in until October 2, 2026, while the remaining shares have a lock-in period ending December 1, 2026.
Priority Jewels Shares Trade 20.75% Above IPO Price
At ₹241.50 as of 10:50:37 AM IST on September 4, 2026, Priority Jewels shares were ₹41.50 above the ₹200 issue price, translating into a 20.75% increase.
The stock had moved from its ₹230 opening price to ₹241.50, while the session range remained between ₹230 and ₹241.50 at the time of the snapshot. The VWAP was ₹233.13.
Subscription Rose From 1.93 Times To 100.45 Times
The IPO recorded overall subscription of 1.93 times on August 28, the first bidding day. Subscription increased to 29.06 times on August 31 before reaching 100.45 times on September 1.
QIB ex-anchor subscription rose from 0.44 times on the first day to 39.87 times on the final day. Retail subscription increased from 3.07 times to 106.76 times over the same period.
Priority Jewels Listing Follows ₹200 Issue Price
Priority Jewels was listed on BSE and NSE on September 4, 2026, following allotment on September 2 and credit of shares on September 3.
At the latest market snapshot, the stock was trading at ₹241.50 on BSE, with the session high at the same level. The ₹91.50 crore IPO had recorded 100.45 times overall subscription before listing.
