RailTel Secures ₹82 Crore Railway Signalling Contract From HRIDC; Shares in Focus

RailTel secured an ₹82.04 crore railway signalling order from Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation for the Duhai-Manesar rail corridor project.

Mumbai, June 8: RailTel Corporation of India has secured a fresh railway signalling contract worth ₹82.04 crore from Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HRIDC), adding another project to its infrastructure execution pipeline.
The company disclosed in an exchange filing that it received a Letter of Acceptance for signalling and telecommunication works linked to the Duhai-Manesar New Patti rail corridor project.
The scope includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of signalling and telecom systems, along with associated infrastructure at Chandla Dungarwas and Pachgaon Halt stations.
According to the filing, the order value stands at ₹82,04,38,912 including taxes.
Project Adds To RailTel’s Railway Modernisation Pipeline
RailTel said the contract is domestic in nature and is expected to be completed by November 27, 2027.
The company received the Letter of Acceptance on June 8, 2026, at 11:15 AM IST.
The latest win comes at a time when railway infrastructure spending continues to gather pace across freight corridors, station upgrades and signalling modernisation projects.
RailTel has steadily expanded beyond telecom connectivity into signalling, network integration and digital railway infrastructure, helping strengthen its order visibility in government-backed transport projects.
The company clarified that the contract is not a related-party transaction and that neither promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority.
Stock Market Snapshot
RailTel share price stayed on investors’ radar after the company announced an ₹82.04 crore railway signalling order from Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation.
The stock moved higher earlier in the trading cycle and touched levels above ₹318 before witnessing mild profit booking. Shares were trading around ₹313 in the latest session, compared with nearly ₹311 at the beginning of the observed period.
