RailTel Wins ₹17.48 Cr Government Contract to Strengthen Chhattisgarh’s Digital Network Infrastructure

Mumbai, 9 July 2025: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (NSE: RAILTEL), a leading central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has secured a significant work order worth ₹17.48 crore from the General Administration Department (GAD) of Chhattisgarh. The project aims to overhaul and modernise the state’s communication and IT network infrastructure by January 2031.

Following the announcement of its ₹17.48 crore network infrastructure order from the Chhattisgarh government, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd witnessed a marginal dip in its share price on 9 July 2025.

The stock opened at ₹413.85 and touched an intraday high of ₹417.70 before slipping to a low of ₹408.15. By 3:30 PM IST, it closed at ₹409.40, down 0.57% or ₹2.35 from the previous close, despite positive operational developments.

• Awarding Authority: General Administration Department, Chhattisgarh
• Order Nature: Domestic; infrastructure development and IT networking
• Execution Deadline: January 14, 2031
• Work Order Received On: July 8, 2025, at 5:48 PM

The order does not involve any related party transactions, and the promoter group holds no interest in the awarding authority.
