New Delhi: Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited on Saturday reported a 10.93 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 83.89 crore for the July-September quarter.
The pediatric and perinatal healthcare network had posted a profit of Rs 75.62 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Its revenue from operations rose 23.2 per cent to Rs 548.02 crore during the second quarter of the current fiscal year, from Rs 444.79 crore in the year-ago period, it said.
Rainbow further strengthened its presence in coastal Andhra Pradesh with the commencement of operations at its newly acquired 70-bed hospital in Nellore and a 50-bed brand new hospital in Guntur.
These additions extend Rainbow’s network from Visakhapatnam to Chennai, it said in a media release.
Ramesh Kancharla, Chairman and Managing Director at Rainbow Children’s Medicare Ltd, said, “This quarter’s performance reflects continued demand for specialised pediatric and women’s healthcare, as well as steady progress across our hospitals.
“Our expansion in Nellore and Guntur strengthens our presence across Andhra Pradesh, while the proposed Amaravati hospital is now in the project planning phase.
“As we expand, our focus will remain on building strong clinical teams, maintaining consistent standards of care and ensuring that our investments translate into greater access to specialised women and children healthcare.”
