Rajesh Power bags orders worth Rs 212 cr from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation

New Delhi: Rajesh Power Services on Wednesday said it has secured new orders worth Rs 211.68 crore from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (OPTCL).
The orders involve the construction of a 220 kV underground transmission cable connecting the Grid Substation (GSS) at Mendhasal with the Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) at Chandaka B in Odisha, a company statement said.
The scope also includes extension of the Air Insulated Substation (AIS) bay at Mendhasal and the Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) bay at Chandaka B.
The order marks Rajesh Power’s entry into Odisha and expands the company’s execution footprint across India, the statement said, adding that the project is also among the largest orders secured by the company in the transmission segment.
“The award of these orders from OPTCL marks an important milestone for Rajesh Power as we expand our presence into Odisha,” said Kurang Panchal, Managing Director, Rajesh Power Services.
The company executes power transmission and distribution projects across India, with expertise spanning extra-high-voltage transmission systems, substations and underground cabling infrastructure.
It is currently executing projects in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
