Mumbai, November 14: Ram Ratna Wires Limited has announced that it has approved a bonus issue of 1:1. It has fixed December 26 as the record date for the bonus issue. A record date is the date on which a company reviews its shareholders’ list to determine eligible shareholders for the bonus issue. Hence, investors must hold or buy the shares of Ram Ratna wires before December 26, to be eligible for the bonus issue.
Ram Ratna Wires Limited (NSE: RAMRAT, BSE: 522281) is a leading Indian manufacturer of winding wires, primarily specialising in super-enamelled copper winding wires. It is a part of the RR Global conglomerate. The company’s products are used in a wide range of applications, including electric motors, transformers, and other electrical equipment. The company was established in 1992, and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Under its bonus issue of 1:1, eligible shareholders holding one share of the company will receive one extra share. This comes after the company issued a 1:1 bonus in September 2022. However, the share price of Ram Ratna Wires will fall by 50% on the ex-bonus date to adjust for the one extra share. Ram Ratna Wires reported a 29.9% increase YoY in its profit after tax for Q2 FY26 at ₹21.8 crore. Its revenue from operations for the same period increased to ₹1,163.4 crore, a rise of 23.8% YoY. Its quarterly EBITDA was ₹55 crore, a rise of 53.9% YoY.

At the market close, Ram Ratna Wires share price closed 0.89%, or 5.60 points higher at ₹634.55. The shares made an intraday high of ₹645 and an intraday low of ₹630. The traded volume stood at 61.56 thousand shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹2,933 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹785.95 and their 52-week low at ₹456.60.
