New Delhi, May 29 – Game content-to-commerce platform Rooter has announced the release of its financial results with a 120% year-on-year revenue surge in FY25.

Rooter, known primarily as a game streaming platform, launched Rooter Shop as a pilot in July and began scaling it in October. Since then, the platform has seen an average monthly user spend of Rs 2,400.

“The biggest contribution happened because of the success of Rooter Shop, which is our commerce play. It now contributes 70% of overall revenue, while brand monetisation and other partnerships make up the remaining 30%,” said Piyush, Founder and CEO of Rooter.

Currently, Rooter is tracking an annual revenue run rate (ARR) of USD 24 million. Furthermore, it aims for a 3- 4X revenue growth in the current fiscal year.

Strong Financial Outlook and Profitability Target

In FY25, Rooter successfully reduced its losses by 63%. With strong revenue momentum, the company is now targeting EBITDA positivity and full profitability by fiscal year 2026.

“Rooter’s revenue growth through scaled user monetisation marks a defining and strategic step forward in building sustainable growth for the platform, while creating a strong impact on the gaming ecosystem,” Piyush added.

When it comes to its future, Rooter is projecting a GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) run rate of USD 90 million by March 2026. This will help the company continue its exponential expansion in commerce.

Platform and Funding Snapshot

The company has a registered user base exceeding 85 million. It has leveraged this user base to raise USD 37 million in primary capital from multiple investors across India, the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
