COIMBATORE, May 26, 2025 : Salzer Electronics Ltd (NSE: SALZERELEC) has secured a significant contract valued at ₹192 crore from the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), marking a pivotal advancement in its smart infrastructure journey. A Step Towards Smarter Cities

The contract involves the implementation of a Centralized Control and Monitoring System (CCMS) for street lighting, along with the large-scale replacement of conventional streetlights with energy-saving LED lamps. The initiative will cover Bengaluru’s East Zone and parts of the Bommanahalli Zone, supporting BBMP’s broader goals of energy conservation and modernised civic infrastructure.

Salzer Electronics will execute the project in partnership with Schnell Energy Equipments Pvt Ltd, a fellow Coimbatore-based firm renowned for its expertise in smart cities and energy efficiency solutions.

This contract is classified as a domestic order and forms part of Salzer’s regular business operations. The company formally disclosed the development in its communication with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
