Saregama Board Clears 100% Acquisition of Finnet Media via Pocket Aces

Kolkata, September 25, 2025: Saregama India Ltd (NSE: SAREGAMA, BSE: 532163) has announced that the board of directors has approved the acquisition of Finnet Media Private Limited through its material subsidiary, Pocket Aces Pictures Private Limited. The total consideration of the deal will be ₹8.70 crore. Following the acquisition’s completion, Finnet Media will become a fully owned subsidiary of Pocket Aces. It will have a positive impact on the parent (Saregama’s) presence in the fast-growing digital media and influencer management space.
Finnet Media was incorporated on March 28, 2022. The company focuses on influencer marketing, social media marketing, and creator and talent management in key sectors, including finance, health, and infotainment. Its revenue in FY24 was ₹23.04 crores.
Pocket Aces Pictures Private Limited is a digital entertainment company incorporated on June 19, 2013. It specializes in creating engaging content such as web series, short films, and online videos, primarily targeting youth audiences. The company has established a strong presence on platforms like YouTube and OTT services. It continues to expand its portfolio with innovative storytelling that appeals to a wide digital audience.
Acquisition Details
The total value of the acquisition deal is estimated to be ₹8.70 crore. The deal involves the purchase of 3,00,000 equity shares (representing a 100% stake), with an additional 2,88,235 Optionally Convertible Preference Shares (OCPS) to be acquired after two years. Finnet reported a turnover of ₹23.04 crore in FY24. The acquisition is set to be completed by October 30, 2025, with OCPS finalized after two years.
Strategic Rationale
The acquisition is designed to strengthen Pocket Aces’ artist and influencer management vertical. Finnet operates in a similar business segment, which is expected to create operational synergies, expand market reach, and consolidate Pocket Aces’ position in influencer marketing.
Share Price Movement
The share price of Saregama India Limited moved sideways throughout the day and closed at ₹473.30 (down by 0.57% from the previous day’s closing price). The stock has plummeted by close to 3% over the past month. The low-high ratio was ₹470.80 and ₹478.40,
