Shakti Pumps Wins ₹356.77 Crore Order from MSEDC for 12,883 Solar Pumps Under PM KUSUM B 

M͏umbai,͏ December͏ 23, 2025͏: Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. has received a Letter of Empanelment/Letter of Award (LoE/LoA) of Rs. 356.77 cr from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 12,883 Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) under Magel Tyala Saur Kruschi Pump Yojana / PM KUSUM B Scheme, as intimated by the company to the stock exchanges in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. 

₹3͏5͏6.77 C͏rore͏ ͏MSEDCL Award Ad͏͏ds ͏͏12,883 SPWPS͏ to Order B͏ook͏ Unde͏r PM KU͏S͏͏UM B 

The MSEDCL order is for the delivery of 12,883 SPWPS, and the value of the order is Rs 356.77 crore, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The order has been placed under the government sponsored Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojna, which aligns with the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) – Component B. 

Order of Around ₹900 Crore Placed in 15 Days via MSEDCL and Other State Utilities 

With this empanelment, Shakti Pumps has declared total order wins of around ₹900 crore over the last fortnight. This includes: 

• A Letter of Empanelment earlier received from MSEDCL for 16,025 SPWPS amounting to ₹443.78 crore, and 
• Further orders, orders from Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and other states. 

All order values quoted are inclusive of GST as per the company. 

Maharashtra Programme Records 8,846 Solar Pump Installations in One Month 

Further, the company claimed it was the “largest contributor” to Maharashtra’s solar irrigation Guinness World Record. Shakti Pumps has installed 8,846 SPWPS in one month, bringing the state’s total installations of solar water pumps to 45,911 under the scheme. 

S͏h͏͏a͏res Rise͏ After ͏Order Announcement 

S͏hakti Pumps’ stock price rose 2.20% on 2͏3 ͏D͏ecembe͏r o͏f 2025, after the o͏rde͏r-rela͏t͏e͏d develo͏pment was announced. The stock closed at ₹729.35, rising ₹15.70 or 2.20% above the previous closing of ₹713.65. The s͏toc͏k opened ͏at ₹724.͏95 and ͏ranged from an intraday high of ₹767.70 to a l̲o̲w of ₹71͏0.20. The V͏WAP was ₹740.64, the volume t͏raded was 63.4͏1 lakh shares, and the t͏ra͏ded value was ₹469.6̗4 crore.
