Mumbai August, 26: Shoppers Stop Limited has joined hands with Peter England to launch STOP × Peter England, a new menswear collection, as the retailer’s shares traded lower in afternoon trade. 

The company said in an exchange disclosure that the new collection combines STOP’s understanding of Shoppers Stop customers with Peter England’s established menswear offering. 

The collection has been introduced across 53 Shoppers Stop stores and is set to expand to stores across India. It covers formal, casual and occasion wear, with the brands positioning the range around contemporary styling, comfort and everyday versatility.

The Shoppers Stop share price was at ₹390.05 as of 2:29 PM IST on August 26, 2026, down ₹4.55, or 1.15%, from the previous close, according to the market data provided. 

The stock had remained close to ₹394 for much of the afternoon before slipping towards ₹390 near the end of the session shown in the chart.

New Menswear Tie-Up Targets Shoppers Stop Customers 

Shoppers Stop said the partnership gives STOP a new association with Peter England, bringing together two established names in Indian menswear. 

Peter England, part of Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands, has a large retail and wholesale presence across the country. Shoppers Stop, meanwhile, operates a broad premium fashion and beauty retail network, giving the new collection an established store base for distribution. 

Conclusion 

The STOP × Peter England launch gives Shoppers Stop a fresh menswear proposition, with the first rollout already covering 53 stores and a wider expansion planned. 

For the market, the announcement came against a weaker stock performance. Shoppers Stop shares were trading at ₹390.05, down 1.15%, as of 2:29 PM IST on August 26, 2026.
