Mumbai, July 14: Sigma Advanced Systems Ltd. has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Bromford Precision Solutions Ltd., a UK-based manufacturer of high-precision aerospace engine components, in a deal valued at GBP 11.89 million (approximately ₹153 crore).

The acquisition, announced through an exchange filing, is expected to close by the end of July 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. According to the company, the enterprise value represents an adjusted EBITDA multiple of about 4.6 times (CY2026 estimate).

For Sigma, the transaction is more than just an overseas acquisition. It gives the company access to Bromford’s long-standing relationships with global aerospace OEMs, including Rolls-Royce and Siemens, while adding specialised manufacturing capabilities in aero-engine rings, casings, ducts, brackets and other precision-machined components.

The company said Bromford’s product portfolio complements its existing operations and broadens its ability to serve customers across aerospace, defence and power generation markets.

Sigma also plans to integrate Bromford into its global manufacturing network by investing in automation, shifting select component production to India where feasible and pursuing revenue growth through deeper engagement with existing customers. Bromford’s management team will continue to oversee day-to-day operations.

Stock Market Snapshot

Sigma Advanced Systems share price traded higher after the announcement, reflecting positive investor sentiment towards the acquisition.

The stock was trading at ₹595.15, up ₹12.20 or 2.09%, as of 9:24 AM IST on July 14.

While overseas acquisitions often involve execution and integration risks, investors appeared encouraged by the strategic fit of the business and its potential to strengthen Sigma’s position in the global aerospace supply chain.
