Silver Futures Rise to Rs 2.38 Lakh per Kg

New Delhi: Silver prices rose 0.79 per cent to Rs 2.38 lakh per kg in the futures trade on Thursday amid a firm global trend.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the white metal for December delivery increased by Rs 1,862, or 0.79 per cent, to Rs 2,38,128 per kilogram in a business turnover of 2,445 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
In the overseas market, silver futures increased 1.04 per cent to USD 65.99 per ounce.
