Silver Rate in Mumbai Today, August 12, 2026: Silver Holds at ₹255 Per Gram

Silver prices in Mumbai held steady on August 12, with the rate unchanged across the day at ₹255 per gram and ₹2,55,000 per kilogram. The price remained at the same level as the previous session after silver recorded a sharp ₹10,000 gain per kg on August 11.

Mumbai, August 12: Silver prices in Mumbai remained unchanged on Wednesday after a sharp rise in the previous session. The rate of silver stood at ₹255 per gram, while the price of 1 kilogram remained at ₹2,55,000.
The precious metal had gained ₹10 per gram on August 11, taking the price from ₹245 to ₹255 per gram. With no further movement today, silver is currently holding on to those gains.

Silver Prices Hold After Previous Session’s Jump
Silver prices in Mumbai have stayed firm after moving higher in the previous session.
The rate was ₹235 per gram on August 3 and remained at that level on August 4. It then moved up to ₹240 on August 5, followed by another rise to ₹245 on August 7.
Silver stayed at ₹245 per gram through August 10 before jumping to ₹255 on August 11. The latest rate has remained unchanged today.
At ₹255 per gram, silver is now ₹20 higher than its August 3 level.
