Mumbai, May 6: Solex Energy Limited signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Gujarat for a proposed ₹4,000 crore integrated solar cell and battery energy storage system manufacturing project, according to a company press release filed with the National Stock Exchange.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior central and state government officials, including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, according to the company release.
The company said the proposed manufacturing ecosystem is expected to support employment generation, industrial growth and domestic renewable energy manufacturing capabilities.
