New Delhi: Real estate consultant Square Yards on Tuesday announced that it has raised Rs 900 crore from investors to support business growth and refinance existing debt. According to the company, the funding round comprised a mix of debt and equity and was anchored by EAAA Alternatives, with participation from global corporate credit manager Muzinich & Co..
Square Yards said the equity capital was raised at a valuation higher than its previous funding round. Sources indicated that the company secured the funds at a valuation exceeding USD 1 billion, helping it attain unicorn status.
During the last fiscal year, Square Yards reported revenue of Rs 2,086 crore, marking a 48 per cent year-on-year growth. Its EBITDA increased 3.7 times to Rs 176 crore. The company provides integrated real estate services, including property search, transactions, home loans, interiors, and property management.
