Sterling Tools Jumps 3.87% After Subsidiary Rebrands as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions

New Delhi, October 14: Sterling Tools Limited’s share price is witnessing a rally today, after the company announced that its subsidiary, Sterling Gtake, has been rebranded as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited. As of 1:15 PM, the shares of the company were up by 3.87%, or 11.95 points, and were trading at ₹320.60. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹335 and ₹310. The traded volume stood at 8.10 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹1,117 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹744.30 and their 52-week low at ₹310.
Sterling Tools Limited is an Indian company that is engaged in the manufacturing of high-tensile cold-forged fasteners. The company was established in 1979 and is headquartered in New Delhi. The shares of the company are listed on NSE with the code STERTOOLS and on BSE with the code 530759.
Subsidiary Rebrands as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions
The rise in the share price comes after the company announced that its subsidiary, Sterling Gtake, has been rebranded as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited. This marks a strategic shift toward comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) technology solutions by the company.
In a regulatory filing, Sterling Tools said that Sterling Gtake, one of India’s leading motor controller makers, will now operate under the name Sterling E-Mobility Solutions Limited. The move, according to the company, represents a “significant milestone” in its journey toward becoming a comprehensive EV technology provider, integrating powertrain and power electronics solutions for electric mobility.
