Mumbai, 1 December 2025: The Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy share price surged on Monday morning after the company announced the receipt of a significant order from Adani Green Energy. The stock reached an intraday high of ₹238.00 within the first couple of trading hours. However, the selling pressure soon mounted and the stock lost some momentum and consolidated a bit during the afternoon session. At 02:30 PM, the share traded at ₹229.30 (up by 1.67% from the previous day’s closing price).

What Triggered the Rally?

The early morning rally is attributed to the ₹1381 crore agreement signed by the company with Adani Energy. It is a strategic partnership framework agreement for Balance of System packages across three solar projects. The said projects are located in Gujarat’s Khavda Renewable Energy Park. The package services include supply of goods and onsite services at the plants.

Impact on Sterling and Wilson

With this order, the total order inflows of the company have surpassed ₹6450 crore for the current financial year. As the partnership is aimed for the next five years, it gives a critical revenue visibility for the enterprise. The company is already executing close to 6GW of projects in the Khavda region. The company hopes of completing around 5GW during the current fiscal year. Hence, the new portfolio will add 1GW to its portfolio.

Management Outlook

The company’s management expressed delight on the new partnership and mentioned that this is the largest domestic EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract for the current financial year, so far. The company underlined that the partnership between the country’s largest renewable energy company (Adani Green) will be critical in projecting Sterling and Wilson as an effective EPC leader in the Indian solar market.

Share Price Movement

As underlined, the stock traded at ₹229.30 (+1.67% from the previous closing) at 02:30 PM. Despite the bit of rally today, the stock has plummeted by 24.67% in the past six months and around 51.52% YTD. The company’s PE ratio was -14.38 compared to the industrial average of 24.83. The 52-week high and low prices of the share are ₹525.95 and ₹218.45, respectively.
