Mumbai, Sept 10: Here are five stocks making news on Thursday, from a Rs 1,800-crore pipeline order win for Dilip Buildcon to a sharp jump in toll revenue for IRB Infrastructure Developers to an electric-logistics push at Hindustan Zinc to a cluster of block deals across Khadim India and Mangalam Global Enterprise. Here’s what’s driving each stock and what to track through the day.
Dilip Buildcon: Emerges successful bidder for Rs 1,800-crore pipeline project
Dilip Buildcon has emerged as the successful bidder for a project worth Rs 1,800 crore after receiving a letter of intent from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board for authorisation to lay, build, operate or expand a petroleum and petroleum products (LPG) pipeline from Paradip, Odisha, to Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The order adds a sizeable energy-infrastructure project to the company’s order book, extending its footprint beyond its core roads and highway construction business into the pipeline segment. The Paradip-Raipur corridor is expected to strengthen LPG supply connectivity between the eastern coast and central India, a route that has seen growing demand from industrial and household consumers in the region.
IRB Infrastructure Developers: Toll revenue jumps 25% in August
IRB Infrastructure Developers reported a 25 per cent year-on-year increase in toll revenue to Rs 807.4 crore in August 2026, up from Rs 646.2 crore in the year-ago month. The sharp jump reflects continued traffic growth across the company’s toll road assets, and comes as investors track monthly toll collection trends as a proxy for underlying road-traffic momentum across the infrastructure sector. The steady rise in collections also offers a read-through for the broader highways and logistics space, where traffic volumes are often seen as an early indicator of economic activity.
Hindustan Zinc: Signs six-year EV logistics contract with MFL India
Hindustan Zinc has signed a six-year transportation contract with logistics solutions provider MFL India for the deployment of 30 electric trucks to transport concentrates, accelerating the electrification of its mine-to-smelter logistics network. The move is part of the Vedanta group company’s broader push toward decarbonising its supply chain, and follows a string of clean-energy and critical-minerals initiatives the company has announced through the year, including its recent foray into rare-earth exploration.
Khadim India: Angel investor adds to stake as Ambit Investment Advisors exits partially
Angel investor Pankaj Prasoon has picked up an additional 4.18 lakh shares in footwear maker Khadim India for Rs 4.86 crore at Rs 116.19 per share, adding to the 1.62 per cent stake, or 2.97 lakh shares, he already held as of June 2026. On the other side, Ambit Investment Advisors sold 3.69 lakh shares in Khadim India for Rs 4.27 crore at Rs 115.97 per share, trimming its position in the company.
Mangalam Global Enterprise: Veloce Fintech picks up 3.57% stake as investor exits
Lemon Group-backed Veloce Fintech, through Veloce Opportunities Fund and Veloce Opportunities Fund-II, picked up 1.17 crore equity shares, representing a 3.57 per cent stake in Mangalam Global Enterprise, for Rs 18.26 crore at Rs 15.5 per share. Meanwhile, investor Chungath Karunakaran Padma Kumar exited the company entirely, selling his full holding of 1.24 crore shares, equivalent to a 3.78 per cent stake, for Rs 19.3 crore at the same price, marking a complete ownership handover between the two parties on the same price point.
Broader Read
Thursday’s triggers span an energy-infrastructure order win for Dilip Buildcon, a strong toll-revenue print for IRB Infrastructure Developers, an EV-logistics tie-up at Hindustan Zinc, and a cluster of block deals across Khadim India and Mangalam Global Enterprise, a mix of company-specific developments for investors to weigh even as the broader market looks to open on a cautiously positive note. Gift Nifty futures were trading around 23,495.50, up 78.50 points or 0.34 per cent, as of early Thursday morning, pointing to a tentative stabilisation after the Nifty 50 fell to a three-month low of 23,431.50 on Wednesday. Oil breaching $100 a barrel for the first time since July, alongside an escalating Iran-US conflict near the Strait of Hormuz and weak overnight cues from Asian and US markets, is likely to keep sentiment cautious through the session.
