Mumbai, Sept 29: Here are five stocks in focus on Tuesday, from a Croatia-based acquisition for HCL Technologies to a Rs 1,076.71 crore Andhra Pradesh water supply order for NCC to a stake sale for Power Finance Corporation to a Rs 481 crore BHEL contract for Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases to a Rs 4,200 crore green loan for Indian Railway Finance Corporation. Here’s what to track through the session.
HCL Technologies (HCLTECH)
HCLSoftware, a division of HCLTech, has expressed its intention to acquire Robotiq.ai based out of Croatia at a price of €9 million.) This will help HCLSoftware to enhance its enterprise robotic process automation offering and will allow HCL UnO Agentic to orchestrate AI agents from decisions to actions. Robotiq.ai is a company based out of Zagreb that was established in 2018 and creates Robotic Process Automation platform that can be leveraged by any industry. Enterprises across various industries use Robotiq to automate their admin/back-office tasks. With this, HCLSoftware adds yet another software acquisition to its belt as it looks to create its agentic AI stack. HCL Technologies is the fourth largest IT services company by revenue in India and is growing its enterprise software suite apart from its services vertical.
NCC (NCC)
The company has received an LOA from Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Deptt, Govt of Andhra Pradesh for Rs 1,076.71 crore. It will be providing drinking water supply under MV Schemes on Yeleru reservoir for Anakapalli area in Anakapalli District. NCC is one of the leading construction & infra players in India with order inflow in the areas of water supply, buildings, roads, irrigation and mining.
Power Finance Corporation (PFC)
In its recent filing with the exchange the company has informed that it has sold off two of its subsidiaries for a total consideration of Rs 11.13 crore. One was sold off to Montecarlo Energy for Rs 3.72 crore and the other was sold off to Apraava Energy for Rs 7.41 crore. PFC is a PSU NBFC that lends to various segments in the power value chain and is categorised as an Infra finance company by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases (ELLEN)
Ellenbarrie has won an order from BHEL worth Rs 481 crore. The order is to design, engineer, supply, erect, test, pre commission, commission, trial running, operation, train operators, demonstrate the performance guarantees, supply of spares and hand over the 1200 TPD Cryogenic ASU on Turn key basis for BHEL’s coal to ammonium nitrate 2000 TPD project in Odisha. Based out of Kolkata, Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases manufactures Industrial/Medical/Specialty Gases like Oxygen, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Argon & CO2 and Cryogenic/ Non Cryogenic ASU plants. They recently listed on the exchanges in 2025.
Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC)
IRFC has entered into a Term Loan Agreement with DVC worth Rs 4,200 crore to fund Renewable Energy Projects in Jharkhand & West Bengal. IRFC is the Market Borrowing arm of Indian Railways and has expanded its portfolio to various infra sectors apart from Railways in the past few years.
