Mumbai, May 29, 2025 – Suzlon Energy Ltd (NSE: SUZLON) announced its highest net profit in ten years, reporting a consolidated PAT of ₹2,072 crore for FY25. This sharp surge was powered by record wind turbine deliveries, healthy margins, and recognition of deferred tax assets.

  • Operations & Maintenance Services (OMS): Managed 15.1 GW capacity, generating ₹1,928 crore in annuity revenue at 40% EBITDA margin.
  • SE Forge: Achieved ₹489 crore in revenue with a consistent 15.1% EBITDA margin; preparing to expand capacity amid rising sector demand.

Corporate Developments:

  • Order Book: Suzlon closed FY25 with a record 5.6 GW order book. Major April-May 2025 orders came from NTPC Green (378 MW), BPCL (50.4 MW), and Sunsure Energy (100.8 MW).
  • Deferred Tax Assets: Recognised ₹638 crore, supported by improved earnings visibility.
  • Debt and Cash Position: Gross borrowings at ₹283 crore; cash and equivalents stood at ₹2,227 crore, reflecting a net cash position of ₹1,943 crore.
