Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO closed for subscription on August 27, 2026, after receiving a strong response across investor categories. The ₹1,757 crore issue was subscribed 75.08 times overall, with the QIB portion receiving the highest demand at 181.20 times, followed by NII at 77.56 times and retail investors at 13.69 times. The IPO allotment is expected on August 28, while the shares are scheduled to list on September 1.

Mumbai, August 27: The Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO has closed for subscription after a strong four-day bidding period that saw demand accelerate sharply on the final day. The ₹1,757 crore IPO was subscribed 75.08 times overall by the time bidding ended on August 27, 2026.
The issue opened on August 24 and was available for subscription through August 27. Fresh applications can no longer be placed, as the bidding window has now closed.
The biggest push came from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), whose portion was subscribed 181.20 times. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) also showed strong interest, with their category subscribed 77.56 times, while the retail portion ended at 13.69 times.
Employee investors subscribed 16.32 times.
Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Subscription Status
As of the final subscription update on August 27 at around 5:14 PM, the IPO had received bids for 93,54,86,175 shares against 1,24,60,533 shares offered to eligible investors, resulting in an overall subscription of 75.08 times.

The QIB segment clearly stood out on the closing day, ending with more than 181 times the shares available. The NII category also saw heavy bidding, while retail participation remained comparatively moderate despite still crossing 13 times.

The final day made the biggest difference. QIB subscription jumped from 0.62x at the end of Day 3 to 181.20x by the close, while the overall subscription climbed from 5.62x to 75.08x.
Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Details
Symbiotec Pharmalab’s IPO had a total issue size of ₹1,757 crore. This included a fresh issue of 15.21 lakh shares worth ₹150 crore and an offer for sale of 1.63 crore shares worth ₹1,607 crore.
The price band was fixed at ₹938 to ₹988 per share, with the final issue price set at ₹988 per share. The IPO lot size was 15 shares, meaning retail investors needed a minimum investment of ₹14,820 at the upper end of the price band.
The company also reserved 33,408 shares for employees, who were offered a discount of ₹90 per share to the issue price.
