Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO details

Symbiotec Pharmalab is looking to raise around ₹1,757 crore through the IPO. The issue comprises a fresh issue of 15,21,261 shares, aggregating to ₹150 crore, and an offer for sale of 1,62,65,181 shares, amounting to ₹1,607 crore at the upper price band.

The IPO opened on August 24 and will close on August 27, 2026. The tentative allotment date is August 28, followed by the expected credit of shares on August 31. The company is scheduled to list on September 1, 2026, on both the NSE and BSE.

The company has fixed the face value at ₹2 per share, while the IPO price band is ₹938-₹988 per share. The employee category is also eligible for a ₹90 per share discount.

What does the Day 1 Response Indicate?

The opening numbers show that investors have been cautious so far. Retail and NII participation has started, but neither category has come close to full subscription, while QIB bidding was yet to begin in the reported data.

That said, this is only the first-day morning snapshot. IPO subscription activity can change sharply during the final two days, particularly once institutional participation picks up. Investors will therefore be watching the Day 2 and Day 3 numbers closely before drawing a firm conclusion on the overall demand for the issue.
