Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Subscription Reaches 6.24x on Day 4; NII Subscription at 14.96x

The Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO is seeing a strong response on its final day of bidding. As of 10:45 AM on August 27, the ₹1,757 crore issue was subscribed 6.24 times overall. NII investors led the demand at 14.96x, while the employee portion was subscribed 6.64x and retail investors bid 5.71x. The QIB portion stood at 0.63x at the latest update.

Mumbai, August 27: The Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO is seeing steady demand as the issue enters the final hours of bidding. The ₹1,757 crore IPO opened on August 24 and is scheduled to close today, August 27, 2026.

As of 10:45 AM on August 27, investors had placed bids for 7,77,97,200 shares, compared with 1,24,60,533 shares available in the public portion. This took the overall subscription to 6.24 times. The issue had received 21,20,413 applications by the time of the latest update.

The NII segment is currently driving the subscription numbers, while retail investors and employees have also put in bids well above their respective quotas. QIB participation, on the other hand, remains below the full issue size so far. 

NII Category Leads Subscription at 14.96x 

The NII portion has attracted the strongest demand so far, with subscription reaching 14.96 times.

Looking closer at the category, the sNII portion has been subscribed 16.52 times, while the bNII portion stands at 14.19 times.

Retail investors have also shown healthy interest. The retail portion is subscribed 5.71 times, with bids received for 3,55,03,590 shares against 62,13,562 shares reserved for the category.

The employee portion has received 6.64 times subscription, with bids for 2,21,805 shares against 33,408 shares on offer.

The QIB (Ex Anchor) portion is currently at 0.63 times, with bids for 22,20,990 shares against 35,50,608 shares available.

The issue had a relatively slow start, ending Day 1 at 0.85x subscription. Activity picked up on Day 2, taking the overall figure to 1.95x.

Demand really accelerated on Day 3. By the end of August 26, the IPO had reached 5.62x subscription, with the NII segment becoming the clear standout.

On the final day, the overall subscription has moved up to 6.24x so far. NII demand has climbed from 12.86x to 14.96x, while retail subscription has edged up from 5.38x to 5.71x. 

Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Details 

The Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO comes with a price band of ₹938 to ₹988 per share. The issue price is ₹988 per share, while the minimum lot size is 15 shares.

At the upper end of the price band, a retail investor needs ₹14,820 to apply for one lot. 

The ₹1,757 crore issue consists of: 

  • Fresh Issue: 15,21,261 shares worth up to ₹150 crore 
  • Offer for Sale: 1,62,65,181 shares worth up to ₹1,607 crore 
  • Total Issue Size: 1,77,86,442 shares 

Of the net issue, 50% is reserved for QIBs, 15% for NIIs and 35% for retail investors.

The IPO also has a separate employee reservation of 33,408 shares. Eligible employees are being offered a ₹90 discount to the issue price. 

Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Anchor Investors 

Before the public issue opened, Symbiotec Pharmalab raised ₹526.20 crore from anchor investors.

The anchor bidding was completed on August 21, 2026, with 53,25,909 shares allotted to anchor investors.

The lock-in period for 50% of these shares is scheduled to end on September 27, 2026. The remaining anchor shares will have a longer lock-in period ending on November 26, 2026.

What Happens After the IPO Closes? 

The Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO is still open for subscription as of the latest update and will close on August 27.

Once the bidding window shuts, investors will turn their attention to the allotment. The tentative schedule is as follows:
