Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO received bids for 2.43 crore shares against 1.24 crore shares on offer by Day 2, taking the overall subscription to 1.95 times. NII investors subscribed 3.16 times, while the retail portion was booked 2.22 times. The IPO is still open and will close on August 27, 2026.

Mumbai, August 25: The Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO picked up pace on the second day of bidding, with the issue subscribed 1.95 times by August 25, 2026, at around 5:07 PM. The ₹1,757 crore public issue saw particularly strong demand from non-institutional investors, while the retail portion also crossed the two-times subscription mark.
The IPO opened for subscription on August 24, 2026, and is scheduled to remain open until August 27, 2026. The issue is still open for subscription and has not closed yet.

The issue received bids for 2,43,33,990 shares against 1,24,60,533 shares available for subscription, resulting in an overall subscription of 1.95 times.

The NII category emerged as the strongest major investor segment, with the portion subscribed 3.16 times. Within NII, the sNII portion was booked 4.30 times, while bNII stood at 2.59 times.
Retail investors also showed healthy interest, subscribing to their reserved portion 2.22 times. The QIB portion, excluding anchor investors, remained comparatively lower at 0.57 times.

Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Details
Symbiotec Pharmalab is looking to raise ₹1,757 crore through a combination of a fresh issue and an offer for sale. The fresh issue comprises 15.21 lakh shares, aggregating to around ₹150 crore, while the offer for sale consists of 1.63 crore shares worth approximately ₹1,607 crore.
The IPO has a price band of ₹938 to ₹988 per share. The lot size is 15 shares, meaning retail investors need a minimum of ₹14,820 to apply for one lot at the upper end of the price band.
The IPO will close on August 27, 2026. The tentative allotment date is August 28, followed by refunds and share credit on August 31. The shares are expected to list on BSE and NSE on September 1, 2026.
Symbiotec Pharmalab IPO Issue Reservation
The IPO has allocated 50% of the net issue to QIBs, while 15% is reserved for NII investors and 35% for retail investors.
The company has also kept a reservation of 33,408 shares for employees, who are being offered a discount of ₹90 per share to the issue price.
Ahead of the public issue, Symbiotec Pharmalab raised ₹526.20 crore from anchor investors. A total of 53,25,909 shares were offered to the anchor investors.
