Thursday, December 04, 2025: Travels and Rentals Limited is set to expand its capital base with a proposed rights issue of approximately ₹17 crore. The company’s board of directors convened today to discuss this strategic move amid evolving business dynamics. Following the announcement, the share of the company declined nearly 5%
Key Details of the Issue
The issue will be subject to the approval of regulatory guidelines. The face value per share shall be ₹10. The rights issue will be open for the existing shareholders as of the record date (to be determined). The required regulatory clearance shall be as per the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Amendment Regulations, 2025.
Recent Financial and Capital Alteration History
The company had recently completed its IPO (in August 2024) and raised ₹1,224 lakh through the sale of 30.6 lakh equity shares priced at ₹40 each. The company had utilised the proceeds of the IPO towards working capital requirements and other general corporate purposes.
The company has demonstrated robust growth over the past three years, with net sales nearly doubling from ₹5.67 crore in FY2023 to ₹11.45 crore in FY2025. EBIDT has also shown positive growth, reflecting operational efficiency.
