TVS Motor launched the all-new Callisto 110 scooter in Indonesia, strengthening its presence in one of Southeast Asia’s largest two-wheeler markets as the stock traded over 2.5% higher.

Mumbai, July 2: TVS Motor Company has expanded its international portfolio with the launch of the all-new TVS Callisto 110 in Indonesia, a market where automatic scooters account for a majority of two-wheeler sales.
The new model was unveiled in Jakarta through PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia, the company’s local subsidiary. Designed around TVS’ “Built for Real” philosophy, the scooter targets urban commuters with a combination of practical features, improved comfort and fuel-efficient performance.
Indonesia remains one of the world’s largest two-wheeler markets, making the launch strategically important as TVS looks to strengthen its international business and widen its presence in Southeast Asia.
Stock Market Snapshot
The international product launch coincided with positive investor sentiment towards the stock.
As of 12:06 PM IST on July 2, TVS Motor share price was trading at ₹3,586.50, up ₹92.50 or 2.65%.
While overseas product launches do not immediately translate into financial gains, they are closely watched by investors because international markets have become an increasingly important growth driver for Indian automobile manufacturers.
The Indonesia launch follows TVS Motor’s strong June sales update announced earlier in the day, reinforcing the company’s focus on expanding both domestic and overseas operations.

Callisto 110 Targets Indonesia’s High-Volume Scooter Market
The Callisto 110 has been developed for daily urban commuting and comes equipped with features aimed at practicality and rider convenience.
The scooter offers a 109.5cc engine with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), automatic stop-and-go technology for improved fuel efficiency, a 33-litre under-seat storage compartment, front fuel filling, USB charging, an emergency brake signal, and adjustable rear suspension.
TVS will offer the model in four colour options, with introductory pricing beginning at IDR 20.9 million (on-the-road Jakarta). The company said bookings will open through its dealer network in Indonesia from July 2, 2026.
Company executives said the launch is expected to strengthen TVS Motor’s position in Indonesia’s 110cc automatic scooter segment, where demand continues to be driven by urban mobility and everyday commuting.
Company Background
TVS Motor is among India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers, with operations spanning more than 90 countries. Alongside its domestic business, the company has steadily expanded its international footprint through product launches, exports and local manufacturing operations.
Indonesia remains a key overseas market for TVS, where its subsidiary manufactures and sells motorcycles and scooters for both the domestic market and exports to several international destinations.
Conclusion
The launch of the Callisto 110 underscores TVS Motor’s strategy of deepening its presence in international markets while broadening its product portfolio in the high-volume scooter category.
With Indonesia continuing to be one of the world’s largest two-wheeler markets, the new model gives TVS another opportunity to grow its overseas business and strengthen its brand in Southeast Asia.
