Satna, November 13: Universal Cables’ share price is witnessing heavy investor demand today after it reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. As of 12:15 PM, Universal Cables’ share price was up by 8.40%, or 60.90 points, and was trading at ₹786. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹845.25 and ₹778.50. The traded volume for Universal Cables stock stood at 10.76 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹2,516 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹845.25 and their 52-week low at ₹778.50.
Universal Cables Ltd (NSE: UNIVCABLES, BSE: 504212) is an Indian company that designs and manufactures a wide range of power cables. It also produces specialty elastomeric and instrumentation cables and is involved in the manufacturing of power capacitors. The company was established in 1945 and is headquartered in Satna, Madhya Pradesh.
Shares Rise After Strong Q2 FY26 Financial Results
For Q2 FY26, the company reported revenue from operations at ₹81,428.52 lakh, rising from ₹60,019.29 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹63,811.52 lakh in Q2 FY25. Other income also grew to ₹998.03 lakh, taking the total income to ₹82,426.55 lakh, compared to ₹64,687.31 lakh a year earlier. Total expenses for the quarter stood at ₹77,675.39 lakh, up from ₹57,506.82 lakh in the previous quarter.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) surged to ₹4,751.16 lakh, more than doubling year-on-year from ₹2,317.00 lakh in Q2 FY25. After accounting for tax expenses of ₹1,096.65 lakh, net profit for the quarter stood at ₹3,654.59 lakh, a sharp increase from ₹1,889.96 lakh in the same period last year. For the half year ended 30 September 2025 (H1 FY26), total income reached ₹1,42,648.94 lakh, while profit after tax came in at ₹5,604.44 lakh
