Afcons(+5.9%): The company secured a ₹5,301 crore project from Vadhvan Port Project Ltd. (VPPL) to construct a 10.14-kilometre-long breakwater at the upcoming Vadhvan Port in Maharashtra.

Emcure Pharma(+4%): Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has acquired nearly 2 percent equity stake in Emcure Pharmaceuticals from US-based global private equity firm Bain Capital via open market transactions on June 9. Mutual Fund has bought 36 lakh shares (1.89 percent stake) in Emcure Pharmaceuticals from BC Investments IV, the private equity investment holding company owned by Bain Capital for Rs 612 crore. The transaction price was Rs 1,700 per share.

Muthoot(-3.7%) / Manappuram(-4%): Gold financing and jewellery stocks came under pressure as gold prices declined amid weak global cues. Gold prices dropped Rs 2,374 to Rs 1,53,220 per 10 grams in futures trade due to lower spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for August delivery fell Rs 2,374, or 1.53 percent, to Rs 1,53,220 per 10 grams in a turnover of 1,730 lots.
