Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care, Sumeet Industries and Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty IT ETF recorded the biggest increases in trading volume compared with their one-week averages on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Rudra Global Infra Products and Marksans Pharma also saw a sharp rise in activity.

Mumbai, August 12: Several stocks recorded a sharp increase in trading activity on Wednesday, with their volumes moving well above their recent averages. Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care recorded the highest increase compared with its one-week average, followed by Sumeet Industries and Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty IT ETF.

Market Activity
Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care recorded a volume of 4.81 crore shares, compared with an average of 2.75 lakh shares over the previous week. This was 174.82 times its one-week average. Compared with its two-week average of 1.81 lakh shares, the volume was 264.74 times higher. The stock, however, declined 5.72% to ₹511. Sumeet Industries saw 5.68 crore shares traded, against a one-week average of 3.49 lakh shares. Its volume was 162.81 times the weekly average and 273.65 times its two-week average of 2.07 lakh shares. The stock fell 5% to ₹14.82.
Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty IT ETF recorded a volume of 51.22 lakh, which was 106.13 times its one-week average of 48,267 and 40.56 times its two-week average of 1.26 lakh. Its LTP stood at ₹34, down 2.35%. Rudra Global Infra Products recorded 17.14 lakh shares in volume, 72.08 times its one-week average and 51.54 times its two-week average. The stock gained 12.82% to ₹20.50, making it the strongest price performer in the list.
Why Volume Gainers Matter
