Why Volume Gainers Matter
A sharp rise in volume indicates that a stock is seeing much more trading activity than usual. When this comes alongside a strong price move, it can point to increased buying or selling interest during the session. However, high volume alone does not indicate whether a stock will continue to rise or fall. Investors should also consider company-specific developments, price trends and broader market conditions.
Conclusion
The September 8 session saw a notable increase in trading activity across the leading volume gainers. Atlas Cycles (Haryana) Ltd recorded the largest volume surge at 193.09 times its weekly average, followed by Symphony Ltd at 100.81 times. Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd also saw exceptionally high participation, while Arvee Laboratories (India) Ltd delivered a 20% gain. The list reflects a clear rise in market activity across these counters by the end of the trading session.
