Zydus Wellness’ Net Profit in March Quarter Up by 14.4%

Zydus Wellness Limited has displayed a robust set of numbers for FY25, with consolidated net profit coming in 30% higher yoy at ₹3,410 million (excluding exceptional items and deferred tax gains). The company’s net sales also grew by 16.2% to ₹26,912 million for the year.
EBITDA increased by 23.2% to ₹3,797 million, driven by strong operational efficiencies and brand-induced growth.
Q4 FY25 Performance Highlights:
- Zydus Wellness reported net sales of ₹9,106 million compared with ₹7,780 million in Q4 of FY24, up 17.0%.
- Profit after tax for the quarter, before exceptional items, increased by 14.4% to ₹1,719 million.
- The EBITDA for the quarter remained at ₹1,900 million, an increase of 17.1% YoY.
Segment-Wise Performance:
The quarter continued to see a sustained performance of the company’s flagship brands such as Sugar Free, ‘Glucon-D, Everyuth, Nutralite, Nycil based on brand building and innovation.
Food & Nutrition Segment
The Food and Nutrition segment gained momentum, increasing 15.4% in Q4 and 13.0% for the full fiscal year.
- Sugar Free continued to dominate the sugar substitute category with a share of 95.9%.
- Glucon-D continued to dominate the energy drinks category with 58.8% MAT market share, stronghold as category leader. They also lost share at the MAT level in the nutrition drink category, which was down 2.1%.
- Complan accounted for 4% of the market share
- The brand Nutralite is accelerating into its product range towards the food and wellness vertical.
Personal Care
Q4 and FY25 have been primarily driven by the especially strong growth in the Personal Care vertical, which increased 22.5% in Q4 and 33.4% for FY25.
Key highlights include:
- Nycil continued to be the market leader in the prickly heat powder segment with a 33.8% market share.
- Everyuth Scrub further consolidated its leadership at 48.5% share, a growth of more than 321 basis points over the corresponding period of the previous year.
- Everyuth Peel-Off Mask was the chart topper with 77.7% share, 6.1 basis points higher than a year ago.
- The brand Everyuth entered the Sheet Mask category with its three new variants, Golden Glow, Anti-Pollution, and Aloe Cucumber.
- In the facial cleansing segment, Everyuth Household was at No. 5 with 7.7% market share.

Zydus Wellness Ltd shares have gained a total of 6.69% in the last year, and 5.64% in the last month.

With robust brand equity, new-product launches, and aggressive marketing, Zydus Wellness is in good standing to maintain a strong growth trajectory.
