Mumbai September, 02: Accord Transformers & Switchgear Limited has received purchase orders worth ₹9.69 crore, including GST, from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited for the supply of power transformers for electric vehicle charging station development projects.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the two orders have a basic value of ₹8.21 crore. GST of ₹1.48 crore takes the total order value to ₹9.69 crore.

The orders cover 17 transformers in aggregate, comprising 15 transformers of 2,000 kVA each and two transformers of 2,500 kVA each. The equipment will be supplied for 11kV/22kV Power Sub-Station transformers associated with EV charging station development projects.

Accord Transformers said the orders were received in the ordinary course of business and were awarded by a domestic entity.

Accord Transformers Order Terms Include Fixed Pricing And Payment Protection

The orders have a fixed price, with 100% payment to be made through an irrevocable 60-day Usance Letter of Credit. The filing also provides for delivery within six to eight weeks of manufacturing clearance and drawing approval.

The contract includes a liquidated damages provision of 0.5% per week of delay, capped at 5%. Warranty coverage is specified for 60 months from commissioning or 66 months from receipt, subject to the terms of the order.

The company has also disclosed that the orders are domestic in nature and do not involve the promoter or promoter group of the awarding entity.

Accord Transformers Expands Its Order Pipeline Through Power Equipment Supply

Accord Transformers & Switchgear is engaged in the manufacture and supply of transformers and switchgear products used across power and electrical infrastructure applications.

The latest orders add to its business in transformer supply while also giving the company exposure to infrastructure being developed around EV charging networks.

With deliveries extending into March 2027, the orders provide a defined execution pipeline over the coming months. The company will be responsible for supplying the specified transformer equipment in accordance with the agreed technical and delivery requirements.
