New Delhi: Agastya Energy and Infrastructure on Tuesday said its board has approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 566 crore via preferential issue to support its growth plans.
Agastya Energy and Infrastructure Ltd, (formerly known as Sanginita Chemicals Ltd), is a part of Anubhav Agarwal Group (AAG).
The company said its board has approved a preferential issue of equity shares and convertible warrants aggregating up to Rs 566 crore.
The proposed capital raise is expected to strengthen the company’s financial position and support its long-term growth plans across the energy and infrastructure sectors, it stated.
It also reflects the confidence of the promoter group and participating investors in the company’s strategic direction and future growth potential, the company added.
“This investment marks an important milestone in Agastya’s growth journey and reinforces our confidence in the company’s long-term vision,” Anubhav Agarwal, Chairman, AAG said.
