New Delhi: Realty firm Aurum PropTech Ltd on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 4.29 crore for the quarter ended September, driven by higher income.
It had posted a net loss of Rs 8.41 crore in the year-ago period.
Its total income rose to Rs 137.31 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal from Rs 84.52 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.
In July, Aurum PropTech announced the acquisition of property classified platform Housing.com in an all-equity deal at an enterprise value of Rs 458 crore, as part of its strategy to expand business.
In the latest September quarter, the company said there was progress on three fronts — sustained growth and improving profitability across its existing platforms; integration of Housing.com into the Aurum ecosystem; and continued development of the AI-native real estate operating system.
Onkar Shetye, Executive Director of Aurum PropTech, said the performance in the second quarter reflects the growing strength of the company’s operating model, with total income growing to Rs 137 crore.
“Our fourth consecutive quarter of positive PBT (profit before tax) reflects disciplined execution, improving monetisation and a structurally more efficient operating model. With Housing.com bringing consumer intent at scale, we are building India’s first AI-native real estate operating system, connecting discovery, intelligence, transactions, financing and living,” he added.
The next phase of growth would be driven by deeper monetisation of consumer demand, AI-led operating efficiencies and the network effects of an integrated ecosystem, Shetye said.
Aurum PropTech owns and operates Housing.com, NestAway, HelloWorld, Aurum Analytica, Sell.do, and PropTiger, serving consumers across the real estate lifecycle.
