Bajaj Auto Sales Rise 28%to 5.35 Lakh Units in August

New Delhi: Bajaj Auto on Tuesday reported a 28 per cent rise in total sales to 5,35,764 units in August compared to 4,17,616 units in the same month last year.

Total domestic sales increased 10 per cent to 2,55,708 units last month, as against 2,32,398 units in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Two-wheeler sales in the domestic market increased 10 per cent year-on-year to 2,01,898 units, from 1,84,109 units in August 2025, it added.

Exports of two-wheelers stood 53 per cent higher at 2,41,850 units last month as compared to 1,57,778 units in the same month a year ago, it said.

Total commercial vehicle sales in August 2026 stood at 92,016 units, up 22 per cent from 75,729 units in the year-ago month, it added.

Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market rose 11 per cent to 53,810 units as against 48,289 units in August 2025, while exports were up 39 per cent at 38,206 units compared to 27,440 units in the same period a year ago, the company said.
